Macros (macronutrients) are the nutrients we consume in large quantities and are split into three main groups: PROTEIN, FATS AND….CARBOHYDRATES. Contrary to popular belief, carbs are NOT the enemy of fat loss!

Taking in more energy (calories) than you use up leads to fat gain – it’s that simple! These extra calories could come from any macro group – fats, carbs or protein. It is not correct to simplify this by saying “fat makes you fat”.
