Losing Weight with PCOS

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a condition where monthly ovulation in a woman’s cycle doesn’t occur or occurs infrequently. Weight gain is a common symptom of PCOS and the condition is also often linked with insulin resistance.

Where do you want to be in 12 weeks from now?

If you could lose the weight you have been trying to shift, drop a dress size, improve health or reduce symptoms of health conditions, three months from now, how would that make you feel?

3 reasons you’re not losing weight

If you over-restrict, you are, at some point, likely to overindulge. Dropping your calories to a super-low level (1200 cal aspirers, I’m talking to you!) means you’ll feel hungry – it’s that simple. It’s not willpower, it’s not a broken metabolism…you’re just hungry as you’re not eating enough.

Did you overeat this weekend?

First up – if you went overboard this weekend…you still need to eat today! To overindulge at the weekend and then be super-restrictive on Monday is not a good idea…the “diet” doesn’t always start on a Monday!
